Understand the planet, and act: ready-to-use lessons

Lesson series on the environment and sustainable development, for teachers and educators. Each series is complete: teacher guide, slides and printable worksheets.

Ages 8–12 · upper primary and lower secondary, with adaptations for each age
Our approach

Why these series?

Talking about the environment with children without discouraging them. Each series starts from their daily life, builds on facts, and ends with what they can do. Every lesson is linked to the SDGs and to the Belgian French-speaking curriculum.

Learners at the centre

They talk more than the teacher: questions, group work, creating

Easier for teachers

Step-by-step guide, slides and worksheets ready: nothing to build from scratch

Understanding, without doom

Clear facts, without guilt

Taking action

Each series ends with an action the class chooses

The SDGs? 17 goals adopted by the United Nations for 2030. Learn more: United Nations · sdgs.be (Belgium).

Your feedback

How did your class find it?

Tell me what worked, what you adapted, and share your projects. Learners' voices matter just as much: a word, a sentence or a drawing about what they learnt or enjoyed.

Piloting the series with a class? The pilot kit (PDF, 3 pages) sets out the steps and includes a learner sheet, the answers and a note for families.
